To follow what is happening in Nominatim and Photon, subscribe to the Github repositories. This is also the right place for reporting issues with the software. Security announcements for Nominatim and Photon will be published in the blog at https://nominatim.org/blog/. For general question and discussion around geocoding of OpenStreetMap data, the OSM community forum at https://community.openstreetmap.org/ is the best place. If your questions are more directly related to the usage of Nominatim and Photon you can alternatively use the Github discussion forums.
