Another comment about editing interviews for television ... (Discovery Channel)
---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Cristina Archer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sep 12, 2008 1:15 PM Subject: interview by Discovery Channel on high-altitude wind power To: ...... Dear all, I wanted to bring to your attention an interesting video by Discovery Channel, part of the Project Earth series, on high-altitude wind power. They interviewed me in Nice last May and the video shows parts of my interview towards the end (as well as Ken Caldeira and Alan Robock's). The title of the episode is "Infinite Winds". I commented on the climate results prepared by Andrew Weaver of University of Victoria, but for some reason they cut out all references to his work, despite the fact that both I and Basel said his name several times. The video was broadcast live last Saturday on the Discovery Channel and it is now available online. It is a bit complicated to get. Go to: http://video.discovery.com/ and install the Player, then launch it and select "Project Earth" and then "Infinite Winds". Have fun!
