A full time postdoctoral position is available to work on a project
examining interacting social and ecological factors underlying nitrogen
loss from corn production in the Upper Midwest. The study involves
multidisciplinary and collaborative research to understand the drivers of
water pollution and greenhouse gas emissions associated with nitrogen

Foundation Dynamics of Coupled Natural and Human Systems program and aims
to work with stakeholders and policy-makers to better understand nitrogen
loss and pursue new approaches to increase nitrogen use efficiency.

Candidates should have completed a Ph.D., which can be from a relevant
natural or social science discipline, and the most competitive candidates
