The Department of Geography (www.dartmouth.edu/~geog<http://www.dartmouth.edu/~geog>) and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program (www.dartmouth.edu/~wstudies<http://www.dartmouth.edu/~wstudies>) at Dartmouth College seek a scholar to fill a jointly appointed tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position to begin in Fall 2015. We aim to appoint an individual committed to innovative scholarship and teaching in FEMINIST GEOGRAPHY.
Dartmouth is an outstanding research institution, where every junior faculty member receives a significant start-up award and where all faculty are expected to be scholar-teachers of the highest caliber. Dartmouth has an even distribution of male and female students; approximately forty percent of the undergraduate student population are members of minority groups. Dartmouth is also an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer with a strong commitment to diversity. We encourage applications from a broad spectrum of people, including women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, veterans or any other legally protected group. Please submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, teaching statement, writing sample, and a list of three references. Application review will begin November 1, 2014 and will continue until the position is filled.
