Hi, These sorts of questions are more suitable to the users list, you will get a better response there.
As for the issue. I don't think it is a geoserver problem. As long as your firewall is set up to allow or forward requests to the geoserver instance it should work. GeoServer does not constrain itself to listening just on localhost or anything. So there should not be any additional configuration. So i would verify that your firewall is configured correctly, and ensure there are no other network issues going on. -Justin bishal shrestha wrote: > hi all, i am trying to access geoserver from internet . i have got > public ip also. but couldnot access the geoserver from that public ip > and opened firewall for 8080 too. i want to access geoserver like > http://120.89.130.69:8080/geoserver > but it is not working > > geoserver still says like "started SelectChannelConnector @ 0.0.0.0:8080 > <http://0.0.0.0:8080>" > > should any configuration file of geoserver be changed or anything else. > i would very much appericiate your help thanks in advance. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Apps built with the Adobe(R) Flex(R) framework and Flex Builder(TM) are > powering Web 2.0 with engaging, cross-platform capabilities.
