This start of the tutorial is a the best introduction we have at this 
time. I plant to refactor these docs to make a manual plus tutorial.

Justin, are you talking about a better introduction to complex features 
or to app-schema?

Remember, you can have a simple feature app-schema. GeoServer "simple 
features" are a misnomer; they would be better described as "auto-schema 
features" or "inferred-schmea features".
