Wednesday is the next time I am free to make a release of geotools. Perhaps
we can sort this out in tonight's meeting.

Q: was it clear a geotools release was needed? Or do we have a
documentation problem?

Perhaps the release script could grep for SNAPSHOT as a preflight check.

That would be excellent. I am sure the app schema team will welcome that
and we can contribute to both(GT/GS) releases in the future as well.

Victor I have a standing offer to release geotools if needed to support
GeoServer release process. However we can set you up with permissions to
make a GeoTools release; and indeed Justin has provided scripts on that
side as well (which we are also trying to test).
