Hi,
I've noticed that GeoServer now returns a content type of "application/xml"
in OWS10ServiceExceptionHandler
https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/blob/master/src/ows/src/main/java/org/geoserver/ows/OWS10ServiceExceptionHandler.java#L95
However, looking at the OWS 1.0 specification I see no mention of the
application/xml format, and while I haven't seen any specific requirement
one way or the other, there is an example caps document citing:
<Parameter name="ExceptionFormat">
<Value>text/xml</Value>
<Value>text/plain</Value>
<Value>text/html</Value>
</Parameter>
Do you know where the current mime type choice is coming from?
