We fixed quite a few bugs in 2.4.x but nothing earth shattering (most of the
regressions dated back to 2.3.x, compared to 2.2.x), besides an issue with
shapefiles that is hopefully fixed as well (try opening a old data dir with
shapefiles,
if that works, we're good)
I'm good with a 2.4.0 this week
