I would of reported earlier but USGS took a small vacation. Obtaining sample data: #. Navigate to http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov #. Change to Data Sets tab, and select Digital Elevation / GTOPO30 #. Download one of the files from the list I downloaded the file gt30w100n40.dem, a picture of the result is attached.
