Same here Andrea, I have reproduce this error with the default point style.
Basically this error just happens if you previously clicked in apply
otherwise it works fine.

Am I the only one seeing this? This is a fresh build, no extra plugins
installed (so unrelated to the other
ticket already present in Jira, which has likely to do with plugins
