Hi,
once upon a time known regressions were considered release blockers
preventing to go from RC to
final status.
I was looking at Jira and found these known issues that were not addressed
before the 2.12 release,
even if known (and possibly not discussed either, at least I don't remember
seeing a discussion about
releasing with known functional regression):

There may be others (all the fallback from that property expansion in GWC
for example, but that
was discovered past the release).
I know I have been pushing against significant/large last minute changes
for a lifetime, but
gave up recently because people just keep on saying "yes" and then doing it
regardless.
So, the damage is done, I would like to hear how do prevent this from
happening again
in the future? I'm open to suggestions (assuming anybody cares enough to
give a serious
answer, instead of a political one, I'd rather be spared of those)
