Hi, 10 days ago, before the sprint, the following changes have been merged into master:
- https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-8976, Add a purge=metadata|all parameter to the structured coverage granules removal REST endpoint The changes add an extra "purge" parameter to the mosaic granule removal functionality available in REST, allowing moving window of raster data to be managed in GeoServer by just using the REST API, without having to perform manual cleanups in post-processing after the removal from the mosaic index (basically, today, the entry in the image mosaic is removed, but the files and their sidecar information is left there on storage). Now, waiting for the classic month would position the merge of a backport right around the release date, which is not the ideal moment to do it. However, I'd like to have them in 2.14.1. Any objection to backport sooner, in order to have a bit of buffer between the backport and the release?
