In S3BlobStorePanel.java ( https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/blob/main/src/extension/gwc-s3/src/main/java/org/geoserver/gwc/web/blob/S3BlobStorePanel.java#L32-L40 ) awsAccessKey and awsSecretKey are set as required while GWC ( https://github.com/GeoWebCache/geowebcache/blob/master/geowebcache/s3storage/src/main/java/org/geowebcache/s3/S3BlobStoreInfo.java#L385-L401 ) itself allows to not use them and let use the default credentials chain for S3 access. Could you please fix this as it really blocks us from further testing?
