I would like to nominate Peter Smythe for the GeoServer Project Steering Committee, and have checked that he is willing to be nominated (thanks Peter). My nomination is two fold: a) Peter has been a great addition to the team, and has demonstrated the community perspective expected of steering committee members: taking on maintenance / communication / community care and feeding activities. He has also done this with some joy and enthusiasm which is welcome and a good reflection on his character. b) It is good to have a balance of perspectives on the project steering committee from different organisations (something we should always try and seek out).
