Justin Deoliveira (OpenGeo's XML guru) is currently working on GML 3.2.1 
support in GeoTools. As part of the process, he has looked at some of 
the draft WFS 2.0 schemas (the spec is still not final). It will take a 
while for GML 3.2.1 support to be established even in GeoTools. Perhaps 
the end of October? I don't know when WFS 2.0 will be available in 
GeoServer, and GML 3.2.1 will be of limited utility without it; a WFS 
1.1 OutputFormat would be required (this is the approach we may use with 
app-schema).
