Hi there,
maybe someone can help with this problem. We have 2 datasets that are in a
database with epsg:31467 (Gauss Krüger Zone 3). One Dataset is rendered with
Mapserver the other one with GeoServer. If they are displayed in epsg:31467
there is no problem they are exactly congruent. But once the data is
reprojected and displayed as epsg:4326 (WGS84) they are not longer congruent
instead they have a shift.
So we had a look if both systems use the same reprojection parameters.
They have the same towgs parameters but the unit parameter from the
geoserver seems to be another then i.e.
http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/31467 says.
geoserver: UNIT["degree", 0.017453292519943295]
spatialreference: UNIT["degree", 0.01745329251994328]
also we were not able to change this value though we have overwritten the
projection in the epsg_overrides.properties file. Other values could be
changed but not this one.

If anyone has a clue or hint to help with this problem, you are welcome.

Thanks in advance,
Fabian
