All OGC services are case sensitive, mind that you match the case of your attributes (yes, even if they are in a database). The GetFeatureInfo preview uppercases the attribute to make for a "title" appearance, that might be confusing (it's something I've been meaning to fix for a long time in fact). All strings in CQL have to be enclosed within single quotes, unquoted names are considered attributes, same goes for double quoted ones on the 2.1.x series. There is a good amount of docs about cql around with examples: http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/tutorials/cql/cql_tutorial.html (mind, some examples work only on the 2.1.x series) http://communitymapbuilder.org/display/GEOTDOC/14+CQL http://communitymapbuilder.org/display/GEOTDOC/01+CQL+Examples http://fuzzytolerance.info/code/using-geoserver-openlayers-and-cql-filters/ Cheers Andrea -- ------------------------------------------------------- Ing.
