We lack the code to compute a perpendicular line offset, as a result
we don't have that functionality.

Implementing it is possible, but not trivial, so I'm waiting either for someone
that wants to implement it or for funding that can back the days of work
needed to implement it (it is unfortunately not something that can be
done in some boring hours in a weekend)
