Hi all,

I would just like to state that the GWC DI does not work in 2.1.1, but
it works well in 2.1.x and 2.2.x.

Test procedure:
*deploy clean gs2.1.1 war
*enable DI from GUI
*made request to :

http://server-url/geoserver/wms?LAYERS=tasmania&FORMAT=image%2Fpng&SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.1.1&REQUEST=GetMap&STYLES=&EXCEPTIONS=application%2Fvnd.ogc.se_inimage&SRS=EPSG%3A900913&BBOX=16280475.52625,-5322463.1528125,16593561.594063,-5009377.085&WIDTH=256&HEIGHT=256&TILED=true

No gwc response headers are there, while using
geoserver/gwc/service/wms path does have geowebcache response headers.

Do we maybe have to do something else in order to turn GWC DI on?
(except enabling it from GUI)?

I guess theres no need to open JIRA, as it is already working in 2.1.x.

Regards,
Ivan

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
