-1- JP2MrSID is know to be relatively slow. Faster alternatives are ECW
(you need a license) and Kakadu (you need a license).
-2- It is -extremely_ important to know how you configured the layer in
GeoServer. Especially important are the tiling parameters and the
multithreading ones. Can you comment on that?
