Hi Kamardine,
These labels disappearing are a typical result of tiling. The main approach to
overcome this is to request larger images that would provide enough space for
the offending labels to be drawn. In a next step, these meta tiles are sliced
into smaller image tiles. GeoWebCache that comes with GeoServer nowadays does
just that.
Maybe I am just stating the obvious here, so Andrea's solution might still be
valid and meta tiling is of no use in your case. Just thought I'd throw in this
angle as well.
