I hope you guys can help, we have a GeoServer deployment that has lots of NameSpaces/Workspaces (one for each of our users). We have several thousand users and now GeoServer has become very slow to start often taking over 40 minutes, I'm guessing the users.xml, rules.xml which are now very large and these are being loaded into memory at load time and this is slowing things down?
Is there any solution except breaking our users across multiple Tomcat/GeoServerer instances? I'm reluctant to do this because the server is handling the load just fine once it's started, it just takes too long to start. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/GeoServer-Slow-to-Start-with-Lots-of-Namespaces-tp5068101.html Sent from the GeoServer - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite!
