I have seen that changes have been made in the file
DefaultResourceAccessManager.java. I can confirm that these changes fixed the

I observed the following misbehaviour of the latest nightly 2.8 build for
Geoserver from 2015-03-03.
If you login with admin and visit the layer preview page, then you will get 22
layers listed (see figure1.png). Now, create a new data access rule for the
layer topp:states. See the attached figure2.png for a screenshot of this
situation. Finally, logout and visit the layer preview page again. It is
expected that the layer topp:states is not listed because you are an anonymous
user. However, all layers of workspace topp disappeared (see figure 3).
Does anyone made similar observations? Or, can anybody confirm my observation?

believe we lost this mail but yes, someone else did observe a similar issue and
I believe we added a fix in the meantime.
