No problem with the workflow knowing that it's possible to change the layer
name. It just would be nice to see a bit of advice about this on the screen
(a tooltip maybe - but I don't think any UI controls have tooltips?).
Agreed, that is the place in the docs for it. I'll work on adding some doc
for this feature there.
