Hum... I don't think we do anything to explicitly state that the server is
a GeoServer (well, unless people forgot to customize
the contact and owner information), but you can get some clues by looking
at which output formats are supported.
If you find the crazy long list of SRS there is a good chance that's a
GeoServer too, but it can be customized.
The clues are stronger if there is a parallel WFS, since the list of filter
function GeoServer provides is rather unique
