Hi,
can you describe a bit more your use case? Are you trying to authorize
OGC service calls? Or is it just the administration UI that you're trying
to get into?
In any case, I believe you should connect to GeoServer directly first, and
then
setup proxy authentication so that GeoServer uses and trusts the
authentication
performed by Apache:
