Thank you Christian for your answer.
Ideally, I would prefer to do it really in command line, as doing it
through the API is not really nice in a dockerized context (you need a
running Geoserver to run API commands). This means you can't just copy the
files and run a script to set some initial values.
But if too complex, I think I'll still go for the API call (and just start
the server temporarily to run the API call on init).
