Andrea, The polygon is a multipolygon and unfortunately the gs:clip doesn't seem to handle it as it returns a bunch of coordinate one after the other without any kind of seperation.
As you know, WMS does clip the feature. Could you point me in the package/class where this clipping is done ? Maybe I could use the same function on the features returned by the spatial query.
