Hi Members, I have updated geoserver from version *2.9.0 to 2.14.1*. After updating I found some issues with the new one. Below are the steps I followed:
1. I have published few shapfiles and .sld files on version 2.9.0. Since, *data_dir* is somewhere else instead of geoserver folder so I uninstalled the older version and installed 2.14.1 version and used the same data_dir which was in older version. 2. Also tried to *edit the layer *properties but getting error "/*Failed to load Attribute List, Internal error is: null*/" </file/t383423/error_layeredit.png> 2. Then I tried to access that layer as WMS service from newer version but getting error, *Layer preview also giving the error*. 3. Is this is the issue with procedure I followed to update geoserver or wih the geoserver version?. 4. Below is the error I am getting while *Layer preview*: */"java.lang.RuntimeException:Error getting FeatureType, this should never happen! Error getting FeatureType"/*. 5. If anybody already faced the same issue please share the remedy for this issue.
