Hi all

I am experiencing severe memory issues running Geoserver in a Kubernetes
container.

Running a simple JMeter test with a static GetMap request (point layer in
PostGIS) with 30 concurrent requests, Geoserver memory usage steadily increases
until it reaches the JVM limit and causes an out of heap memory error.

I have tried various different GC and other JVM options but all behave in the
same way. GC does seem to be operating as I can see the memory usage regularly
going down, but not as quickly as it goes up.

I am running Geoserver 2.15.2 with Oracle Corporation: 1.8.0_242 (OpenJDK
64-Bit Server VM) and Tomcat 9.0.20.

The same Geoserver deployment within a local Vagrant VM runs the same JMeter
test and remains stable, with memory usage not increasing over time.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks

Tom
