Hi Daniele

Thank you for answering. While reading my first message I realized it was
incomplete. Individual layer rendering is quite good, but when I compose
the layers in the aggregate they don't look interpolated

This is a snap of the 8 level layer, it is using bilinear interp. Output is
quite good at level 8 in TMS: https://ibb.co/10hgtFB
At level 7 the interpolation is not so good, some tiles are blurry. Maybe I
will switch to bicubic, but it is acceptable https://ibb.co/2YyGkZc

Now with the aggregate at level 8 and 7:

https://ibb.co/jhWzVLQ

Is it possible to enable interpolation as the aggregate as well?

To generate the overview I've adapted the script of the tutorial to
increas the JPEG quality but I've kept the other parameters. I'm not sure
it tiling is useful because for this dataset mosaic granules have a 500x500
dimension
for %%F in (*.tif) do (
      echo Processing file %%F

      REM translate
      echo Performing gdal_translate on file %%F to file %%~nF.tiff
      gdal_translate -b 1 -b 2 -b 3 -mask 4 -co "TILED=YES" -co
"BLOCKXSIZE=512" -co "BLOCKYSIZE=512" -co "COMPRESS=JPEG" -co
"PHOTOMETRIC=YCBCR" -co "jpeg_quality=100"
 --config GDAL_TIFF_INTERNAL_MASK YES %%F %outputdir%\%%~nF.tiff

      REM add overviews
      echo Adding overviews on file %%~nF.tiff
      gdaladdo -r average --config COMPRESS_OVERVIEW JPEG --config
PHOTOMETRIC_OVERVIEW YCBCR --config JPEG_QUALITY_OVERVIEW
100 %outputdir%\%%~nF.tiff 2 4 8 16 32

)

Best Regards,

Nicolas
