Hi All,

We have a database table that is being edited during the day, but is also used
as the source of a Geoserver service. We noticed the performance is lacking. My
suspicion is that the GeoWebCache is not being used, because the data is always
newer. Therefore I have set the following parameters on the Tile Cache page of
the layer:

Expire server cache after n seconds: 28800
Expire client cache after n second: 28800

My assumption is that now the cache will only update every 28800 seconds (8
hours), but after reading the documentation, I am not completely sure. Can
someone confirm this for me? Or is there another way to delay cache updates to
(for example) only 3 times per day?

Thanks,

Bart Zwemmer
