Hi Alfredo,
I'm guessing the issue is that you're using a S3 compatible server, rather
than S3 Itself.
Another user was having issues with such setup recently, here is his
comment from 9 days ago:

After going trough source code I found about environment variable
IIO_$ALIAS_AWS_ENDPOINT which is not exposed in documentation. After I set
IIO_S3_AWS_ENDPOINT={myendpoint} and granule location attribute to
s3://bucket/granule.tif it works properly
