Hi,
sorry for bothering you again with this subject, but it seems the
problem is not completely fixed with the jar.
It is okay, sorry I have not the time to help this week.
THis morning we again found more than 160 connections open to Oracle,
again from geoserver, inactive and having executed as latest statement
SELECT wktext
FROM cs_srs
WHERE srid = 8307
We cross-checked and it comes not from an other application. We also
cross-checked to have replaced the gt2-oracle-spatial.jar properly (we
have two installations).
Do you have any further ideas how to fix?
Questions - Just to confirm:
- Chris Holmes, did the oracle fixes get into the recent geoserver release?
- Marc (or Hans) is there a way to count the open connections from a
test case?
I think the best long term solution would be to wrap the connection pool
used in the testcases and have the tests fail if it attempts to finish
without closing all its connections.
