As a result, I completly disabled this test on my local machine.
I have the feeling that a big cleanup is required for our test cases.
Online tests working in unpredictable way, some tests too long, etc.
Note that as an alternative (if you are just interrested in building
latest geotools code), you may try maven 2 (previous post today). It is
faster and eat less memory. Our current Maven 2 build has more tests
disabled than Maven 1 build, but I hope to fix that progressively during
the next weeks. The Maven 2 build is also less tested since it is brand
new, but we need peoples to try it since my hope is to replace completly
the Maven 1 build by Maven 2 at some point in the future :).
As a second alternative (if you don't need brand new Geotools code and
can afford something like a weekly update), you can uses directly the
Geotools binaries snapshot, again with Maven 2. I just put online our
first Geotools maven 2 repository today :)
