Chris Holmes, been looking at the broader picture of where we're going with all this open source geo, both software and applying open source principles to geo, for the past 8 months on a Fulbright Scholarship in Zambia. Figuring out the next steps as I'm done in Zambia soon, and will likely look into taking the community outwards a bit, showing off our work to the world.
On the PMC, and I think just missed being a founding member of the PMC by a month, since I didn't have a job and wanted to be sure I could put good time in if I got a job. Luckily TOPP hired me, I had been volunteering there, writing a mysql datastore. Have had too many module maintainerships, as I tend to get them by default, needing them for geoserver, but I think I may be back down to only mysql. ---------------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: https://webmail.limegroup.com/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc.
