No, what it really needs is someone to take the lead on an informix
datastore. This will provide a good start for them. Apart from that
it's not all that useful, it just does the geometry conversions like
Oracle did.

I have created a new issue component in jira: for "data and jdbc" we
have a number of things falling through the cracks as they get assigned
to one jdbc datastore or another.
