That page *is* rather imposing. However, it seems to deal more with
putting the final touches on the development work than the actual work of
merging. In particular, reading the page does not give me the impression
that a vote for a merge is a vote for breaking trunk for 31 days. It also
seems that the overall "Coverage Branch Merge" could occur in pieces, as
each plugin or module is "polished off". With this in mind, it seems that
this particular deadline is rather arbitrary. Aside from the fact that
Simone and Alessio may not be at liberty to continue work past a certain
time, the deadline has no obvious significance to me. It would seem that
_anything_ merged onto trunk would be a great boon. If the deadline forces
a choice between doing the whole thing fast or doing some part of it
correctly, I'd rather go with the small-part/correct option. :)

I'm not sure how many other names even could be added to that list. That's
some highly specialized knowledge represented by them tasks or it's work
that they're in the middle of. An outsider (even a smart outsider) might
spend more than 31 days just figuring out how the pieces fit. ;)

During the merge itself, well that's a different ball game.
