Sure, although at the moment we work to agree on what is "correct".

2. allow the user to specify the CRS unambiguously - produce the two
needed authority factories so they can do this:
- "EPSG:4326" means "wms style", in the ordinate order ready to draw on
the screen (x first, y second)

I am in agreement here. A lot of  mapping applications expect
longitude first, latitude second, leading us to think in terms of
intuitive x,y order (not lat/lon).
