Hi ALL, I’m new to this list, and during those past few day, monitoring what going on here.... then I see all he issues about Iso 19117 seems very interesting. I was in contact with Bryce few weeks ago, and tell him about an ISO8211 dev open source I wrote (and finance the $107 ;-))). This lib is in process to be include in open map but I guess you could be also interested on. The purpose of ISO8211 is modelling data for exchange/transfert purpose. It’s quite complex, but very compact and widely used in Geomatic both for Raster (such ASRP) and Vector model. The one I’m focus on is S57 it one of the most used for hydrographical modelling purpose. I think especially about ENC for the maritime and navigational. The good news it’s : it’s already dev and it’s the ONLY java open source for Iso8211 (I mean implementing the 99% of the standard and not specific scope of interest). So let me know if you wish to know more about the lib and/or the potential use.
