That is not such a big deal given the mvn eclipse:eclipse target, I am always running this command as I check to ensure that everything is working properly ... I have no problem with the proposal, and it is something module maintainers could do at their leisure - remember we only need the PMC to vote on strategic decisions, or resolve issues that module maintainers cannot archive consensus around (like formatting).
Thanks for taken initiatives like this Martin, between Richard, yourself and Andrea it looks like the codebase will be in good shape. Now if only I can hunt down email and add it to the developers guide. That reminds me, can you place your description of module structure into the developers guide? Right now our instructions say something like copy "graph" and delete the parts you do not want. If you don't mind I will try to set up the "ext/mappane" module up with the normal maven directories you describe.
