Ciao Martin, there might be a little confusion here, but don't worry, I have not renamed anything you are using :-), I know you are relying on these classes for SeaGis ( I catually was looking at it a couple of hours ago, is there some support for hdf somewhere in there? I am playing with hdf these days and I want to share that..), I have just moved them under spike waiting for you to review and decide what to do ( a plugin? Merge somewhere with another plugin? ).
Please take a quick look here: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/Cleaning+up+dependencies+between+various+modules+and+coverage http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/Cleaning+up+dependencies+between+various+modules+and+coverage and here http://svn.geotools.org/geotools/trunk/spike/exoreferenced/ Thx, Simone. ------------------------------------------------------- Eng. The package name changed? I though that the work was just about moving "org.geotools.coverage.io" out of "coverage" module, in a new plugin module? I didn't know that a package name change was planned in the process? I suggest to keep the "org.geotools.coverage.io" package name in the new plugin module... If we want to change the package name, we way try to deprecate them first. I think that nobody used "GridCoverageExchange", but it is not exact that nobody use "org.geotools.coverage.io". I do use it in the Seagis project. I just considered that it is not a suffisient reason to keep this package in core coverage module.
