Hi Jody, I come back.  I am checking the "Common Parsers" status in

In trunk
- CQL was moved to library/cql
- new package name: org.geotools.filter.text.cql2 (it is not done)

if the debate about package name is closed, I could rename it as 
org.geotools.filter.text.cql2 and actualize the cql documentation. Do you 
agree?
