Afaik we're at LGPL v2.  It's probably one that says version 2 or later,
which means anyone's allowed to do the upgrade to version 3.  But we
should decide as a project if we want to, get consensus from everyone
involved.

As far as I know v3 has no major downside and has a nice upside that helps
us - compatibility with apache license.  So I'm definitely for upgrading
to v3.
