No it can't. The 1.0-SNAPSHOT directory does not contain jalopy-maven-plugin-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar jalopy-maven-plugin-1.0-SNAPSHOT.pom only datestamped versions. Why is this? I can look in my local Maven repository and see these files, so they used to be published somewhere, but a collaborator cannot find them when setting up a new local Maven repository. > Anyways, we attempted to use jalopy seriously for two times so far, > especially in GeoServer, and it failed miserably due to a number of > issues (slow, problems with line endings, rewrites the files even if > formatting did not change at all). > I'd say we should simply get rid of it, at least as something > automatically executed. +1 from me. Until then, the workaround is to remove the <version> from the Jalopy plugin settings in the top level POM. -- Ben Caradoc-Davies <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Software Engineer, CSIRO Exploration and Mining Australian Resources Research Centre 26 Dick Perry Ave, Kensington WA 6151, Australia ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
