I am providing feedback because Simone was nice and stopped beating me
with a skype shaped stick (apparently aaime is next in line for a
beating....before simone starts work).

I would like to call the RasterRenderer (or whatever it is called)
directly from a uDig renderer.

As such:
- I would like to use the best raster format for the job (ARGB, gray,
whatever...). If someone call look the SLD and tell me what to create so
much the better...
- I won't be using StreamingRenderer to do composition
- In general uDig is a desktop application so I would like to see
*something* (ie we are doing a visualization step; so showing something
is the priority, the SLD file is there to let us get more specific if
our renderer can handle it)

The final thing is I looked at the SLD and SE specifications and would
like to update the interfaces we use; perhaps we can start with the
RasterSymbolizer if that would help nail things down for Simone?

PS. SLD makes maps pretty, LSD makes maps sit up and talk to you
