Would it be acceptable to update the requirements to Maven 2.0.9? The reason is
that I would like to drop the <pluginManagements> section in the root pom.xml
in
favor of default plugin versions bundled in Maven since 2.0.9. The reason for
that is that we do not upgrate our plugins version often and aggregated javadoc
is not working right now. I wonder if the javadoc failure could be caused by
some incompatibilities with the plugin versions currently declared. I'm hopping
that the plugin versions declared in Maven 2.0.9 work better together.
