ArcSDE uses different transaction isolation levels depending on the backend
database
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOT-1831
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-1831
Project: GeoTools
Issue Type: Task
Components: data arcsde
Affects Versions: 2.5-M2
Reporter: Gabriel Roldán
Assignee: Gabriel Roldán
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: 2.5-M3
When running against MS SQL Server, ArcSDE uses {{READ UNCOMMITTED}}, for
Oracle {{READ COMMITTED}}
This means for sql server the expected behaviour for the geotools data api
differs, and I don't know how to instruct the ArcSDE Java API to always set the
transaction isolation level to read committed.
