In GeoTools 3 where everything is beautiful: - We adopt OSGi manifests; existing java apps (not running in an OSGi container) don't notice; for applications that do (uDig and GeoServer) Martin can finally hide the utility classes at a package level - Sun and OSGi kiss and make up and the FactorySPI JSR decides to use OSGi like the rest of us
(Note I am serious about the OSGi manifests they would help is a lot on the uDig side of things; I am using maven right now to avoid most version hell; but OSGi dependencies would be an even stronger statement). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
